Little Perceptions is a collection of poetry, short stories, and random scenes from novels I haven’t written yet or may never write. It’s a creative space for me to share in, and I hope that people will take something away from what is shared here and maybe feel a little less alone or a little more inspired. I’ve been writing stories and poems since I was a child, and as I’ve grown through life they’ve evolved with me. Writing has always been something I have enjoyed and it’s cathartic for me. Now, juggling a full time job, raising two daughters with my husband, and a very part time student life, doesn’t leave me with an abundance of time for the things I enjoy. Writing is one of those things. I created this space to remind myself that it matters that I do things I enjoy with my life. My hope is that this will be a place for me to come and release my imagination. Even if I’m the only that gets anything from it.
